Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the chentoo store or place an order. Typical ecommerce terms until a final version is confirmed.

The store

chentoo offers outdoor gear for sale to customers in the United States. Product photos, descriptions, prices, and stock can change without notice. We may refuse or cancel an order in cases of pricing error, stock error, suspected fraud, or if we cannot ship to the address given.

Orders and payment

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send an order confirmation. You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate shipping address and for paying all charges shown at checkout, including taxes and shipping.

Products

We describe gear in plain language and show the photos we have. Outdoor use involves weather, wear, and user setup. Follow any care notes on the product page. The gear is sold for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Shipping and returns

Shipping, delivery estimates, and returns are covered on the Shipping and Returns pages. Those pages are part of these terms.

Accounts and site use

If you create an account, keep the login details to yourself. Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or copy store content for commercial use. Store writing, images, and marks belong to chentoo or their licensors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, chentoo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the store or the products. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to our operations as a Hong Kong company selling online to U.S. customers, without limiting any consumer rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
